Corrie Sirkin is a conscientious, energetic, smart and capable divorce attorney with offices in Manassas and Fairfax. She has practiced family law exclusively throughout her career. She provides experienced services in areas of family law which include divorce, child custody, visitation, paternity, child support, equitable distribution, pre-marital agreements, spousal support, separation, pre-marital agreements, modification, post-judgment matters, and property settlement agreements. Corrie practices family law in Virginia and is also licensed in New Jersey and New York.

At the University of Virginia, Corrie earned her B.A. in Psychology and Sociology which allows her to understand complex interpersonal relationships and provide appropriate emotional support as well as legal advice.

Corrie decided to attend law school at the University of Virginia School of Law in order to become a family law attorney and help people during one of the most difficult times of their lives. Her dedication to family law shines through her interactions with her clients from start to finish. She will take the time to truly understand your particular situation and discuss with you all of the possibilities for the resolution of your case. As a spouse of a military veteran, I understand the unique challenges that our service members face especially involving family law, entitlements and benefits.

Her ability to problem solve in a rational, professional and courteous manner provides proven positive outcomes. There are many options for alternative dispute resolutions including settlement discussions, negotiation and mediation which may allow the parties to reach an agreement with less emotional and financial cost. Our firm does not believe in taking actions like filing motions, issuing subpoenas or deposing parties when they are not necessary to obtain essential information or likely to move the case forward.

Corrie is fully prepared to forcefully litigate for her clients. Not every case may be settled or resolved and litigation may be necessary. She will be a strong advocate in court. Corrie has experience dealing with complex cases involving business valuation, experts and complex financial situations. She strives to achieve the best possible resolution for your family while being conscientious of your money.

She has authored articles such as “Ethical Divorce Financing: A Guide for Practitioners” and “Don’t Believe Your Eyes: Spoofing.” She co-authored “Divorce and How It May Impact Your Business” for the Primerus Paradigm Magazine. Corrie was also recognized for her contributions to the publication “Navigating the Divorce Process When You Have A Child With Special Needs” prepared by the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers and the concomitant CLE “Special Needs, Special Children, Special Divorces?”
